Product Description
Known as the “nectar of the gods”, Orange Blossom Honey is a true treasure for honey lovers! Crafted from the nectar of orange citrus flowers, it boasts a pure, citrus-infused sweetness with delicate floral undertones. This honey is a standout in the Bee One Third range, renowned for its unmistakable citrus fragrance and exquisite taste.
This honey has a light golden hue, thick, low-moisture texture, and subtle citrus notes, and is the ultimate gourmet companion. Pair it with creamy cheeses like brie, camembert, or blue cheese, or enjoy it drizzled over crackers or fresh fruit for a luxurious treat. Sensational!
This batch of Orange Blossom Honey is from hives located in the northern border region of Victoria.
Please note: Orange blossom honey can sometimes crystallise and harden in the jar. This is a completely natural process called crystallization. It does not mean the honey has spoiled or gone bad. In fact, it is a sign that your honey is real, raw, and unpasteurized. You can still enjoy it in this form! But, if you prefer your honey to be runny you can easily reverse the hardening process using a warm water bath. Just place the jar of honey into a larger bowl or pot. Pour warm tap water (about 40°C to 50°C) around the jar, being careful not to let the water get into the honey. Avoid using boiling water, as high heat will destroy the honey’s natural enzymes. Let the jar sit, stirring occasionally, until all the crystals dissolve.
About the Producer
Bee One Third has been an Australian producer of raw, neighbourhood honey since 2012. All of their products are raw, chemical-free and 100% Australian. They have around 150 beehives under their stewardship across the East coast of Australia, and they strive to promote the well-being of all pollinators. Using age old beekeeping techniques, their honey is derived from some of Australia’s most unique locations. They work tirelessly with local beekeepers, and the surrounding community, to increase the local bee population and to create greater social awareness about the importance of our insect pollinator friends.
