This Swissmar Verso Indoor/Outdoor Raclette Grill is a fabulous casual communal dining experience! Loved throughout Switzerland and parts of France especially, the reversible aluminium top has both grill and griddle surfaces so you can sear, sizzle and serve all at once, with eight non-stick raclette dishes to melt cheese or warm sides to perfection. It’s perfect for relaxed entertaining, from summer dinners on the deck to cosy winter nights in.

“Raclette” is the name of a specific cows milk cheese that is perfect for grilling and melting and which is widely available in cheese shops, delis and supermarkets. But you can also use other good semi-hard melting/grilling cheeses like Gruyere, Emmental or Fontina. Traditionally, small new potatoes are cooked in advance and served as an accompaniment with the melted cheese poured over the potatoes. Delicious!

Each person can create the meal they want from the selection of items for the top grill and the selection of cheeses (perhaps jazzed up with some additional ingredients) melting below. The possibilities are endless!
