Real Conservera Small Sardines or Sardinillas are for true sardine lovers. The quality is outstanding. The sardines are fished in the Atlantic Ocean where the waters are cold and there is a higher plankton content available for them to fed on. Great care is taken in their handling and transport so that the shiny and texture of their skin is preserved. Each fish is individually headed and tailed by hand before being gutted. Great care is taken at each stage so that the flesh is never bruised. Once each can has been hand packed the tin is toasted, pure olive oil is added then the can is sealed.
