Fleur de Sel is loved by food lovers around the world. With very white, fine, snow-like crystals rich in magnesium and iodine, and displaying a slight hint of violets, it is highly sought after by chefs and foodies all around the world for the magical way it enhances the flavour of foods.
This fleur de sel is from the Ile de Ré (Isle of Re) which is located on the Atlantic coast facing La Rochelle, France. Salt has been harvested here since ancient times. Here the salt is harvested by hand, only in the summer and only when the weather conditions are perfect.
