Product Description
Le Saunier de Camargue Fleur De Sel comes from the South of France. It has a natural white colour and is harvested in the salt marshes by the ancient walled city of Aïgues-Mortes. The salt is harvested at dawn entirely by hand by workers called ‘Paludiers’ – a practice which has remained largely unchanged for centuries. Only the youngest crystals from the very top layer of the salt ponds are taken by barely skimming the surface – meaning only tiny quantities are harvested. Fleur de Sel is a natural unwashed, unrefined and additive free salt from the sea sought after by chefs around the world.

I’ve brought this salt home from Paris in the past and to be able to have it delivered to my door is truly wonderful. Best salt and a fabulous hostess gift!
