About the Producer
Previously a farmer, Lucien Georgelin ventured into jam-making to supplement his income in 1982. His goal has remained unchanged: to highlight local fruits, vegetables, and meats in delicious and innovative products. In the summer months he focussed on producing his renowned jams but in the winter he filled his days working on other traditional products such as pate and foie gras. His devotion to quality, excellence and tradition has seen his artisan business blossom into a major respected producer of fine French products.

I don’t understand I purchased this product then realized there’s hardly any duck breast in it it’s pork with a bit of duck

Hi Tony, thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry if you were disappointed. The full ingredients list from the label is displayed on the product page. This product contains 35% duck meat (of which 5% is the smoked breast), and (like all pates) a range of other ingredients, including pork, to contribute to flavour and texture. Ingredients lists must be listed in order of the weight of each ingredient and duck meat is listed first with this product so duck is the primary meat and the pork is a secondary ingredient. So, to say it’s “pork with a bit of duck” is wrong.
