Product Description
La Chinata Bittersweet Smoked Paprika is made using traditional methods in the La Vera region of Spain. The bittersweet peppers used in La Chinata Bitter Sweet Paprika are not dried in the sun, but by the traditional method of oak smoking to acquire an unmistakable smoky taste. Use it to flavour stews and sauces, or in homemade chorizo or merguez sausages.
La Chinata Hot Smoked Paprika has earned the coveted “Pimentón de la Vera” status. This designation ensures the paprika’s origin and quality, with products made from native pepper varieties like Jaranda, Jeromin, Jariza, and Bola, which are then ground using stone mills to produce a finely textured, smoky paprika available in sweet, hot, and bittersweet varieties. Only products meeting the strict regulations for origin, quality and traditional production methods can display this designation.
