These Baby Pickled Figs in Syrup are a balanced sweet and sour sensation that really enhances the flavour of cheese and charcuterie. The addition of thyme is a master stroke as this really focuses the palate on the savouriness of the combination. Made with top quality tiny Iranian figs that are no bigger than a small cherry which are cooked with brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and thyme. This is a fabulous addition to a cheese board or charcuterie plate. It goes especially well with blue cheese.
