about the producer
Marion Darlington started making her award-winning range of products in the 1980s. A surplus of eggs on the family farm led to the creation of her legendary lemon curd which was jarred and sold when she did her egg round in the nearby towns and villages in England. Later, a fruit producer in Lancashire asked Mrs Darlington if she would buy her surplus fruit, which she did, leading to Mrs Darlington creating a superb range of jams and chutneys. Now 84 years young, Marion still oversees all recipe creation in the family business – there are few to rival her skill in creating preserves and chutneys with such a fabulous homemade taste.
