Product Description
Vincotto is a rich Italian condiment, made to be used in fruit mince tarts called San Martini, in celebration of the saint’s feast day and Christmas. We love this Vincotto from Tabletop Grapes. It’s made according to the Gareffa family traditional recipe handed down over generations and is made from late season specially selected fruit. There is no added sugar, no artificial colours or preservatives and it’s 99% fat free.
Add an extra dimension to your food by simply splashing this Vincotto into fruit tarts, on stewed fruit, tossed through salads or simply sip slowly for a unique tasting experience (non-alcoholic). Make it an essential ingredient in your pantry.
about the producer
Tabletop Grapes was started by Gino and Elina Garreffa in 1972 when they bought their first property in Mildura, in far north-west Victoria. There, the abundant sunshine, rich red loam soil and irrigated water from the Murray River are perfect for growing premium plump grapes. Wanting dried fruit that was rich in its true, natural flavour, the family developed a unique method that produces exactly that, a premium tasting product that is 100% chemical free dried and delicious.
Nearly 50 years later, Tabletop Grapes is still owned by the Garreffa family and are proud multiple award-winning producers with their fruit recognised for its premium quality across the world.
