Product Description

Combining sea salt with Italian black truffles, Tetsuya’s Truffle Salt has been developed by iconic Sydney chef, Tetsuya Wakuda, to enhance the flavours of the simplest dishes. As the ultimate seasoning, it can be used in your kitchen on anything from a simple tomato salad to boiled eggs, to dress pasta or to season meat and fish. Tetsuya suggests sprinkling it over wedges of heirloom tomatoes or over buttered toast. Use it to dress pasta, combined with olive oil and garlic, or it can be tossed through steamed vegetables.  Sprinkle it on beef or fish, especially tuna. Or use it to season your scrambled eggs (see a great recipe below) and you’ll never have scrambled eggs without it again!

So glad I have this delight in my cupboard. Have tried other brands but Tetsuyas’s Truffle Salt is above and beyond. There is mutiny in my house if this isn’t added to our favorite meals. A little goes a long way. Love it

  2. Donna Croker

This truffle salt is gorgeous. I use it in all my savoury dishes and instead of regular table salt on all my meals. It is especially nice on roasted vegetables and meats. Highly recommended and excellent quality.

  3. BenCarv (verified owner)

Very subtle in my opinion – has a very nice scent but it’s hard to beat a good truffle oil in terms of flavor intensity. Works perfectly for dishes that don’t normally use a drizzling of oil though!

  4. Jessica

Pretty good salt, but not as good as sea salt…

  5. Jules (verified owner)

Nothing better than runny poached eggs on toast with a sprinkle of this gorgeous salt. I very occasionally use it to season pasta dishes, but prefer truffle oil. Expensive outlay, but you only use a tiny amount at a time, and it maintains it potency for a long period in the jar.

    Absolutely love this so delicious!

Very strong taste. Fantastic. Only need a small amount.

This is used to tune any meal from great to awesome. Works with almost anything. We always have it on the dining table.
