To put it simply, this Black Truffle Salsa is divine. If you love savoury, briny and earthy flavours, then this is for you! I love it straight from the jar as a spread on a fresh ham and tomato sandwich, and use it in my puttanesca, ragu and bolognese dishes, or anything else I want a gutsy, flavourful and truly Italian experience. A little goes a long way. This salsa compliments mushrooms, tomatoes, capers, figs, chilli, sugar (yes sugar), olive oils, butter and cheeses to name a few, and are excellent as a relish or accompaniment on a cheese platter with a nice glass of red! This spread is also glorious on fresh bread and butter. A must have in my pantry. Heaven in a little jar!
