The Chabert & Guillot story begins with a confectioner, Alexandre, who established his small business in Montélimar in 1848. He created his nougat with exceptional quality ingredients: a handful of beautiful almonds, a touch of honey and a hint of vanilla. His nougat became famous and sought after in France. Eventually, his grandson, Charles Chabert, joined forces with his brother-in-law, Henri Guillot, to guide the business into the future. Today the fame of their products has spread world-wide and a new generation, Pierre and Didier Chabert, uphold the tradition of fine nougat production while creating new nougat products for their numerous fans to enjoy.
