This ceramic snail dish for one dozen snails has been hand-made in Australia by master potter Andrew Cope. Suitable for use in the oven or microwave, but do not use directly on a stovetop. Only immerse in cold water once cooled.

about the producer
Andrew Cope spent ten years as resident potter at Clayworks Australia in Dandenong, Victoria, before setting up his own workshop at Byawatha in Rural Victoria in 2003. He received the Victorian Ceramics Group’s H.R. Hughan award in 1997.

It has a certain rustic charm; all the marks of the maker are there. I do wish the wells are deeper. The glazing could have been more even.
