We love these Savoury Oat Biscuits with Davidstow Cheddar Cheese created in a collaboration between one of our favourite chefs, Rick Stein, and another Cornish Institution, the bakers, Furniss of Cornwall. The result is a delicious, crunchy savoury biscuit, this one blended with Davidstow Cheddar Cheese which gives the biscuit a delicious flavour. The perfect accompaniment for cheeses, especially blue, but also delicious topped with smoked salmon, mackerel or anything that benefits from a delicious crunchy oaty base! Try them also with hummus or a favourite dip. Delish!

Furniss of Cornwall was founded in the 1880s by master baker John Cooper Furniss to make high quality biscuits and they’ve continued to do so ever since. Rick Stein, also from Cornwall, is an acclaimed chef, restaurateur (in the UK and Australia) and television presenter. The Davidstow Creamery in Cornwall has been making cheese for over 50 years. They use a traditional recipe and milk from herds grazing in the fresh air and on the lush pastures of Devon and Cornwall.
