I have tried a wide variety of table salt alternatives and find that Murray River Pink Salt is the best. I love it because it is not too salty and it has a rounded, dimensional flavor. A big factor in its favour is that harvesting this salt is an environmentally friendly endeavor as it removes salt from the Murray River basin at the same time as not having to be mined.

  2. Margaret (verified owner)

This is the only salt I use and it is difficult to get locally, so I buy in bulk from the Culinary Club online. Buying in bulk also allows me to offset the delivery costs over a number of products.

  3. Julie (verified owner)

Eat very small amount of salt per day, this is the perfect balance of flavour , texture and size per flake I have tried. Unable to buy locally but great customer service from the Culinary Club.

  4. Cameron (verified owner)

A great local product which helps (albeit slowly) save the environment. Nice grain size, colour and flavour. Definitely a product that will become an essential ingredient in my kitchen cupboard as well as my dining table.

The Culinary Library has written a book on Pepper and Salt and lists Murray River pink salt flakes as their favorite of all the world’s salts. It’s the most pristine and complex having a hollow stepped pyramid crystal. Melts on the tongue. Delicious.

  6. Joanne (verified owner)

My favourite of all salts which can sometimes be hard to find locally. Will be buying regularly from The Culinary Club. Soft flakes that dissolve readily upon contact with moisture so no crunchy pieces in my tomatoes anymore. Taste is second to none and adds flavour to food without the excessively harsh saltiness that accompanies other salts.

  7. Trev (verified owner)

Love this product, in cooking or direct on the food. It gives another meaning to the word “ salt”. Great customer service from the CUlinary Club.
