Product Description

Liebig Lobster Bisque or Bisque de Homard from France is rich and flavourful and is made with real lobster and seafood (including langoustine and crab). We loved it from the moment we tried it. It’s delicious on its own as a bisque or it’s ideal to use as a base for a bouillabaisse. This tin makes around 400ml of lobster bisque. The instructions are in French but a translation is provided here:

  1. Pour the contents into a saucepan and stir gently until smooth.
  2. Refill the tin with hot water and pour the water into the saucepan. Stir in gently until smooth.
  3. Now put on low heat and bring to a simmer. Do not bring to the boil.

Enjoy!

Water, lobster 24% (pieces and lobster concentrate equivalent to 12% lobster), pieces of langoustine and crab, vegetables, (puree of tomatoes, onion, carrot, leek), white wine, starch modifier, milk & lactose proteins, rapeseed oil, salt, butter, cognac, citric acid, flavour enhancer: E621, garlic, paprika. May contain traces of fish. Contains crustaceans and dairy products.

Great taste, true to description, thoroughly enjoyable

  2. william lavence (verified owner)

Very good. As a Bisque or a base for seafood pasta or other dishes

  3. Gail Robertson (verified owner)

From the review about this, I ordered and had it with seafood pasta last night. It ticked all the boxes. As I always have seafood in the freezer, I will certainly be ordering more of this for the pantry.

  4. Jean-Georges Estiot (verified owner)

Does not taste like a bisque.

    • Craig (verified owner)

Thanks for your feedback Jean-Georges. I’m sorry the product is not to your taste.
