About the Producer

L’Orto di Beppe began as a small family business in 1955 producing traditional Italian preserves in oil using family recipes. The firm was named in honour of the patriarch, Beppe, who entrusted his son with his life savings of 1000 lire to start the business. They sold their products to stores around the Florence area where they lived. Over the years, they became renowned for the quality and taste of their products and the business thrived and grew. Now their products are supplied across Italy and around the world.
