Product Description

We love horseradish but it’s seasonal and hard to find sometimes. This coarsely grated horseradish preserved in white wine vinegar and water from Peter Watson is the perfect way to have horseradish to hand when you need it. You can use it to make your own horseradish cream – just add to fresh cream or sour cream and season with a little salt and pepper. But it can be used anytime fresh horseradish is called for in a recipe.

about the producer

Peter Watson was born into a family where the rhythm of the seasons dictated the cycle of life – making jam, bottling sauce, preserving fruits and vegetables in season. This has guided his philosophy and methods to this day. Peter produces real food, which is hand made and using only premium quality ingredients in season. You can really taste the difference.

Grated horseradish, water, white wine vinegar.

Lovely & hot. Great with Beef

    Hi guys,
Very disappointed with the 2 jars of grated Horse Radish received recently. The horse radish appeared to be chopped, rather than grated swimming in vinegar. We were expecting the radish to be grated, in vinegar, with sour cream to form a sauce.

Hi Dave. Sorry you were disappointed. Yes, the horseradish is thickly grated and in vinegar and water as the product picture shows. The Ingredients List clearly states that it is in water and white wine vinegar and no cream is listed. We do provide a serving suggestion that recommends mixing with cream to make a horseradish cream, perhaps this led to some confusion.

Love the horseradish, thank you very much – reminds me of my father when he used to grate and then add water and vinegar to it, just need to get used to it not being grated – but it’ has the taste I’ve missed tks again
