Product Description
Duck a l’Orange or Canard a l’Orange is a quintessential French dish dating from Medieval times. Tasty pieces of duck legs are simmered in a refined sauce made with real orange juice. The sweetness of the orange sauce contrasts brilliantly with the saltiness of the duck. Like all the Godard specialities, two things stand out in this dish: the quality of the meat – and the phenomenal taste of the sauce.
Simply reheat in the oven. Serve hot, accompanied by white rice and some French green beans.
This jar serves two with accompaniments.
about the producer
Maison Godard was founded in 1978 by Alain and Michèle Godard in Gourdon, a medieval village inside the Quercy-Périgord region of France. Using only the best produce from the region they became renowned for the supreme quality of their foie gras, specialities with foie gras, confits, pâtés and ready made-meals. Later their children Pascal and Annabel joined the business to continue the tradition of quality and authenticity that the family is famous for.

This product is so good and can’t believe it’s in a tin !! Just so convenient and the flavor is just right , not too much orange .I served it with potatoes cooked in Duck fat along with a green salad . HOW EASY IS THAT !

Excellent

Nice flavour but rather spoilt by the fact that the duck leg is very overcooked resulting in a stringy texture. I am a big fan of this French company but this product was not for me

we enjoyed the product, but would not rave about it. The orange flavor was excellent, but as previously mentioned the duck was stringy in texture.
