Product Description

This unctuous crab bisque from French producer, Lou Ferrignade, is prepared in Provence according to the traditional recipe of the fishermen of the Gulf. It has been made with crab and fish that has been pressed, not crushed.  The result is an authentic crab bisque which is fabulous accompanied by pasta for soup or poured over toasted bread croutons. It also makes a great base for a bouillabaisse – just add your own seafood!  Sensational!

about the producer

Ferrigno have their own fishing fleet in Port Saint Louis du Rhone, in the heart of the Mediterranean region, and their own plant located less than 100m from the port which is how they ensure quality and freshness all the way.

This bottle serves two.

Water, crab 12%, conger, tomato puree, vegetables (onions, carrots), rice, modified corn starch, olive oil, vegetable oil, milk in powder, white wine, salt, fresh cream (lactic ferments), butter, cognac, sugar, aromatic plants, spices.

    We had this for dinner on Saturday. I added 250g. blue swimmer crab meat and we will certainly be ordering this again. Goes without saying, the French loaf finished the meal.
